Uttapam is a popular South Indian recipe. We have made Uttapam with a bit of twist by adding bread as an ingredient. This is a kind of vegan Indian recipe with just yoghurt used.\r<br>Kids will like this uttapam for sure.\r<br>Full recipe: \r<br>\r<br>Sign-up Form : \r<br>\r<br>Ingredients for bread uttapam:\r<br>4 slices of bread\r<br>½ Cup Suji/Semolina\r<br>2 Tablespoon All-purpose flour\r<br>½ Cup Yogurt\r<br>1 Tablespoon finely chopped Yellow bell pepper\r<br>1 Tablespoon finely chopped Capsicum\r<br>2 medium sized finely chopped Onions\r<br>1 small finely chopped tomatoes (without seeds)\r<br>Finely chopped Coriander leaves\r<br>1 tsp Ginger (grated or paste)\r<br>Chopped green chilly \r<br>Salt to taste\r<br>Oil for cooking\r<br>¼ cup of water or as required\r<br>\r<br>How to make uttapam:\r<br>Trim the sides of bread.\r<br>\r<br>Take a bowl and cut or break all the bread into small pieces so that it will get blended easily.\r<br>\r<br>Take a mixer grinder and put Semolina/Suji, all purpose flour/maida, yogurt, bread slices, and water, grind it into a thick, smooth and fine paste.\r<br>\r<br>Take out the batter in a deep bowl and add all the veggies yellow bell pepper, chopped capsicum, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, ginger, coriander leaves, salt to taste and mix until well combined.\r<br>\r<br> Batter should be in pouring consistency. It should not neither very thick nor runny so add water accordingly.\r<br>Heat a non stick pan on medium heat and spread little oil on it. \r<br>When the tawa is hot enough take a spoonful of batter and spread in circular motion to make uttappam.
